Getting a job in the Indian Navy might be a daunting task. It is because of the rigorous testing that one might have to go through to excel at the post. But if you want to get into the Indian Navy, then the Indian coast guard under the ministry of defense has put out an online application for the new post of Navik. The coast gaud online form will be released on 5th June. The last date to apply for this post is on 10th June before 5 pm.

For the position of Navik, the candidates will have to go through a series of tests and examinations. First and foremost, there would be an objective type of question. In this type of exam, it comprises of quantitative aptitude, mathematics, English, general knowledge, current affairs, mathematics, and general science. An intriguing test that tests every aspect of an individual. While the date for this examination is not yet confirmed, the admit card or hall ticket for the exam will be out on 20-26th June. For those who clear this examination, they would further have to undergo a physical exam or physical fitness test (PFT). After this, there would be document verification (DV) followed by an interview.

Eligibility clauses.
The eligibility criteria for the latest job in the Indian coast guard is based on two factors.
· Education.
The candidates aspiring for the post should have a 10th pass certificate with a minimum of 50% of marks. For other categories other than the general group, the maximum percentage of marks is relaxed by 5%. Also, there is a particular category for candidates that have obtained 1st, 2nd, 3rd position in any of the national level field sports events across the country. The relaxation of marks varies based on the weight and importance of the certificate obtained in any of the field events.
· Age.
Age is essential as the candidate applying for this job should be at least 18+ years of age. For unreserved categories, it’s about 22 years. For other groups such as SC and ST, the age limit of five years and the OBC category, its relaxed by three years.

Candidates that successfully join the India coast guard service as Navik; they would be getting a monthly pay of about 29,200 rupees. Along with this, there are other service allowance and privileges availed from time to time.
