Have found a new Samsung Galaxy and need to move all your contacts from your old? Do not worry, it’s an easy way to do it!

(For devices running Android Nougat, Marshmallow and Lolipop)

1. Swipe up or down to reach your app

2. Select ‘Contacts’

3. Tap three dots in the top right corner

4. Select ‘Manage Contacts’

5. Select ‘Import / Export Contact’

6. Then you will be able to import or export your contacts, where and from where to choose. In this guide, we will show you how to import contacts from your SIM card to your phone (depending on what you want to do, you can follow the same original path (for example export to ‘export’ ‘)

7. Select where you want to export / import from. Here, we are importing from SIM card

8. Tap the contacts you want to copy or, to select all, select all by ticking at the top of the screen. Once you’ve selected Contacts, tap on ‘Done’

9. Select where you want to move contacts. In the example below, we have selected ‘Phone’

10. Select Import / Export to Confirm

3. Choose ‘corner more’ in the top-right hand side corner

4. Select ‘Settings’

5. Select ‘Import / Export Contact’

6. Tap on Import / Export depending on what you want to import (here, we will select the import, but you can follow the same basic path, depending on where you are going to export the export eg. .

7. Choose the location from which you want to import or export your contacts. Here, we are importing from SIM card, although the steps will be the same for everyone.

9. Select the contacts you want to move or to select all, click on the box located in the upper left corner
