Canon offers robust printer series which provide quality printouts at a good speed. But after completing the smooth working phase, you may start getting a few issues with the Canon printer. Most of the Canon printer errors are temporary and can be fixed by manual techniques. Canon also provides good customer service. If you fall into any issue, you can contact the Canon technical team and get reliable help.

Not Printing Error

Not printing issues can appear due to various reasons. Check whether your Canon printer is available or not. Press the power button of the Canon printer and restart it. Reconnect the Canon IP110 setup printer and wait until the lamp stops blinking. Once the lamp gets steady, give the print command. You can also get the Not printing error when you are trying to print unprintable documents. Check your document to ensure that you are printing the correct page. You should also check for the pending jobs. Your Canon can also show errors in printing when you have lots of pending jobs. Remove all the pending print jobs from the Canon printer and then try to take a printout.

Slow printing

Canon printers are known for their speed. If your Canon printer is showing speed issues then your device is dealing with some issues. For wireless printers, check the connection. If the printer is connected via a router then check the WPS pin. You need to place your Canon printer near the router for better speed. Getting speed issues on wireless printers is common. Connect your printer to the PC via high-speed USB cable and then take printouts with good speed. You can also use the draft (low) mode of the printer for increasing the speed. You can use the draft mode for printing plain documents like pdf or word files. You can take printouts with good speed and the ink used is also very low on draft mode. When you have to take a good quality printout then change the mode to high.

Paper Jam

Paper jam is a common issue on printers. Jamming issues appear when the paper chunk or dust is stuck inside the printer. You need to clean the printer to remove the paper jam. Go to the Canon printer and open the access door. Remove the dust with the clean cloth and remove the chunks. Check the roller of your Canon printer. If the roller has drawn multiple papers then take out the paper and check the input tray. Align the paper correctly and then take a printout.

Faded printouts

A faded print out appears when the ink is about to get empty. Check the ink level on your cartridge. If the ink level is low then install a new cartridge on your Canon printer. Do not install third-party cartridges as it may give you quality issues. Refill the ink on Canon cartridges carefully as the ink is harmful when consumed. Wear a mask while refilling the ink. Reinsert the cartridge on your Canon printer and now take the printouts.

Low-quality printouts

If your Canon printer is giving low-quality printouts then immediately check the cartridge. If you are using a third-party cartridge then switch it to the original Canon cartridge. Now check the printing mode, if the mode is low or regular then change it to high. Quality issues can also appear when you are using very thin or thick paper. Use good quality pages for printing with Canon.

If you are unable to troubleshoot the issues with manual techniques then ask the Canon support team for help.
