Beauty is a vague concept and it can vary from person to person. For some, beauty lies in simplicity and for some, it is being stylish. For some people, it is reflected by healthy hair and radiant skin while some consider inner beauty, which includes a warm personality and an innocent heart as the real one. But in the real-world a healthy body and mind team up to make someone look attractive.

Ayurveda goes with the thought that ‘beauty comes from within’. This 4000-year-old science is known for the concept of harmony between the mind, body, and soul that balances the whole self. It supports overall health, optimizes energy, and treats each individual differently.

Do not mix food that is not compatible: Food can turn out to be very dangerous if taken in wrong combinations.

  • Milk and fruit: Milk and fruit make a bad combination so try avoiding yogurt mixed with fruits. Milk takes time to digest while fruits get digested easily. Thus it curdles the milk and forms acid in the body causing acidity.
  • Milk with meat: Avoid using milk and any milk product with meat or fish. It makes a deadly combination as meat heats up the body and milk cools it down. Hus this contrasting combination makes it worse for the body.
  • Ghee and honey: Ghee tends to cool your body and honey heats it up and causes an imbalance in the body that is not good for you.
  • Cold drinks after the meal: Try not to take cold drinks after having a meal. This plays with the digestive juices and causes stomach issues. Try avoiding ice cream and yogurt as well before and after the meal.

Olive oil also works as a natural cleanser for oily skin as well.

Eat nuts and seeds: Seeds and nuts are the best sources to keep your skin healthy. We should add them to our regular diet as they contain healthy fats that are good for your skin and cardiovascular system. Sunflower seeds, almonds, pistachios, and flax seeds are rich in Omega 3 regularly for glowing skin.

Cut down the intake of sugar and salt: If you do not want to trigger cardiovascular diseases then cut down the intake of salt and sugar from your food as it affects the blood pressure. Raw Potato for removing pigmentation: Potato is the best to keep away from pigmentation, scars and dark spots as it contains starch and natural bleaching properties. It also prevents premature aging. You just need to grate the potato and extract the juice and dip the cotton ball in the potato juice to apply it to the affected area. Leave it overnight to get the best results.
