Let’s look at seven basic steps you can do right now to help you reach your fitness goals faster.

Consider writing your goals down: Only approximately 3% of adults have documented goals. These folks achieve five to 10 times as much as others who do not have defined goals.

1st Step:

Make a clear decision about what you want. This will enable you to prioritize your work so that you spend the majority of your time on high-value tasks that will help you achieve your objectives. If your goal is to gain 20 pounds of muscle, walking 5 miles every day isn’t going to help you achieve your goal.

2nd Step:

Make a note of it. Consider your options on paper once more. Goals that are written down have a lot of force. They have a force behind them that motivates you to achieve them that handwritten goals lack.

3rd Step:

Make a deadline for yourself. Instill a sense of urgency and positive pressure in your audience. You will delay and do the tiny things that will harm your short-term goals if you don’t have a deadline. You are considerably less inclined to swallow that bag of popcorn if you are having “after” pictures done in three weeks than if you are just getting in shape…eventually.

4th Step:

Make a list of everything that comes to mind that you’ll need to accomplish to reach your goal. Nothing should be left to chance. The more you plan ahead of time, the more likely you are to stick to it and achieve your objectives. The better prepared you are, the more likely you are to succeed.

5th Step:

Make a plan out of the list. Sort your to-do list by priority and order.

6th Step:

Take immediate action on your strategy. Make a move. Get started right away. Begin right now to establish positive reinforcement and momentum.

7th Step:

Make a daily commitment to do something that takes you closer to your main objective. You have to with fitness, don’t you? You should always be doing something that pushes you closer to your goals, whether it’s working out or eating six high-protein meals.

Don’t merely nod your head as you read their suggestions. Make active use of them. They will make a significant difference in your life, not just in terms of your health and fitness goals.
