The world has become a stage for the latest technologies..be it cellphones, automated robots, the internet, etc. Everything has made our life easier and well, a lot less complicated(although it comes with its own set of problems). Gone are those days when we had to join big lines to do the smallest of things..gone are the days when we had to rely on human effort to get our things done..but nowadays, with a cellphone in hand and a good internet connection, we can do anything in our power to make a lot of things happen (just by a few clicks).

The coming in of technology has made our lives a lot less extracting and a lot more tech-savvy. So many things have changed(as noticed by our parents and grandparents of course)

  1. Paying the bills: Our grandparents and parents used to tell us the tale of the times when they used to pay visits to the government offices to pay electricity, telephone and water bills..but nowadays, standing in those queues for hours at an end is pretty much extinct. The youth now have the support of technologies like a phone or a laptop or a tab along with the internet to get these tasks done. We not only have one, but multiple platforms to get the payments done..and that too, securely and in a jiffy.
  2. Booking flight/train/bus tickets: Booking a flight, plane, or bus ticket used to be considered a huge task back then when the internet was not introduced to this world. People used to go to the station itself in advance to get the tickets booked..but now, you can book tickets for your desired destination from the comfort of your couch! With a laptop in your hand and the internet, it is very easy to book tickets(sometimes, you can enjoy pretty good discounts too!)
  3. Transfer money: The kind of rush banks used to have in earlier times was pretty overwhelming…I mean, waiting for hours in queues to get your transactions done is pretty understandably frustrating..but now, with the emergence of mobile banking or e-banking or e-wallets, you can make your transactions happen with a click of a button! In fact, transactions can happen all over the world with the help of just basic information in your hands.
  4. Loan sanction: Getting a loan sanctioned from any kind of financial institution is nothing but messy..loans used to require truckloads of documents, a lot of screenings, and unbelievable rates of interest, with the possibility of your appeal getting rejected..but with the introduction of services like Filipino cash loans, getting a loan sanctioned has become a pretty much hassle-free process(you can click here to know more)…now, getting a cash loan in 1 hour in the Philippines is no longer a difficult task. The basic requirements for a quick cash loan are a government-approved ID and proof of income. The approval time for these loans is very minimal. With online applications, you can expect to get your loan approved in a few hours. Given that your documents are valid, your loan can even get approved within an hour.
  5. Watching movies: In the earlier times, people used to wait for a movie to release in the theatre or they used to rely on the cable network to show on its channel or people used to rent cassettes of the movies they liked..but with the grandeur entry of OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc you can watch movies within the comfort of your homes. You can easily buy subscriptions off the internet and watch all the movies you want!
  6. Shopping: Shopping used to be a huge task for people back then, going to the right stores..selecting something you like..then buying it after getting in lines to pay cash and then returning it if you don’t like it..it was a pretty time taking task(especially for the people who hate shopping or just don’t have the time to go for shopping). But, the youth nowadays have come to the solution that they do not have the time to visit stores..so, online shopping became the staple. With the birth of e-commerce giants like Amazon..the face of the market has completely changed.
