Express Entry is a system applied by the Canadian government to handle Canadian permanent resident applications for filling available labour gaps during various economic immigration programs. This system was launched in response to increasing numbers of skilled workers immigrating to Canada under the Federal Economic programs of the government. Under Express Entry, the processing of permanent residency applications is simplified through a centralized database that handles the application and selection process of eligible candidates. In Express Entry, the federal government guarantees to accept a candidate that has the skills, qualifications and experience that are on the list of national candidates for permanent residence. The Express Entry pool is larger than the pool for the Permanent immigration class and is also subject to the government’s capacity to accept higher numbers of candidates.
To be considered for express entry, you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria and obtain an eligible profile. There are two ways to apply for express entry: by visiting the express entry website or by contacting your provincial immigration service. You can also apply to the remaining available job offers in the Express Entry while you are working your way through the Canadian immigration system. This is possible since the points system is dynamic and you can increase your score over time.
The Express Entry registration process allows you to tailor your experience and skills to specific job offers. For example, if you want to apply for a position that offers more benefits or flexible work hours, you can do so. You can also choose between being an office player or a manager. Similarly, you can tailor your profile to suit the type of occupation that you are interested in. If you are a skilled worker who wants to apply for a position in a major city, you can increase your odds of success by applying to a province-specific Express Entry Pool.
The Express Entry selection process is administered by the Canadian immigration authorities. There are three levels of eligibility, and the higher your ranking, the better your chances of obtaining a job offer. In order to reach the top two categories, you need to have a job offer in Canada and a language test result or English language test result that is at least 75% than your current mean score.
