Get the tools

First of all, you need to arrange some professional tools. The tools include– crimper, cordless drill, extension ladder, hex head driver, rivet gun, tin snips, among others. Also, you will need self-tapping hex head screws, hex head screws (also known as ‘zippers’). Do not forget to get rivets, downspouts, elbows, hanging straps, gutter sealant, and other required tools.

Make a plan

Now, you need to make a plan for where you want to install the gutter. And how you will do that. You can start by measuring the entire length of the gutter. And can select the spaces to install them. Also, you need to measure the extensions of the gutter before the installation. Moreover, you have to cut the gutter using tin snips, join the sections, and rivet the sections.

Mount the gutter

Assuming that you have taken all necessary preparatory measures, now you are to mount the gutter. Get some drills on the positions where you want to place it. Attach the drills with spikes. Assemble the gutter. Ensure that no edges are sharp or unattended. Connect the gutter with the downspouts and rivet them. Now, use a ladder to mount it on the position.

Fix the position

At this point, you have to fix the gutter in the correct position. Also, you have to use gutter sealant so that there are no gaps in between the connection. It will help the gutter to prevent leakage. Create some slopes that will remove the standing water from the gutter. Now, you are almost done with the installation.
