This is probably my favorite way to send or receive a fax because of the following. First of all, the software seems to constantly conflict with another device in my system. Secondly, my modem does not seem to work out of the box with software. When I fix everything I usually get calls from people who say, can I send it now or have you sent it? Does that make you look professional? Not so much.
Then there are online services. I have to give these gold stars permission to make my life easier. I no longer have to be in one place to get my faxes. As I write this I am sitting in a tree house in Phuket, Thailand. Also, I have no idea where I can send a fax without leaving my computer.
