HOW EXACTLY TO Keep Lipstick From Smudging? – Step By Step Tutorial

To make sure your lipstick lasts all day long (and night), read on…

Step 1 : Prepping The Lips

Always begin with prepping your lips by applying a lip balm/lip conditioner. This will make your lips tender and supple, and the application form becomes effortless thereafter. Next, apply a foundation/concealer on the lips, and place it with compact to create a flawless makeup base. This system also helps to keep the lipstick intact.

Step 2 : Series Your Lips With Lip Pencil

Start lining the lips with a lip pencil. Once you have outlined the lips, complete the entire lip place with the same lip pencil. Right now, swipe the lipstick over your lips. In this tutorial, I have used a gorgeous scarlet lipstick in matte end. Dab some loose powder on the lips with a small fluffy brush after applying lipstick, as shown in the picture. Allow it rest for 5 to 10 mere seconds. I have used a transparent completing powder here.

Step 3 : Blending The Powder

Now, take a small flat brush and gradually sweep the powder all over the lips, till you get the required matte finish, and then blend.

This system helps in sealing the color on the lips and prevents smudging as well.

Step 4 : Blotting THE SURPLUS Lipstick

Once you are finished with Step 3 3, take a clean tissue paper and fold it into 1 / 2. Place the tissue between your higher and lower lips. Blot the excess lipstick with the cells as proven in the image.

Don’t worry relating to this technique making your lipstick appear uneven or perhaps faded. You can correct it later by reapplying it.

Step 5: The Final Touch Up

If you’re a lip gloss fan, then swipe a coat of lip gloss simply on the guts of the lips. This will avoid the bleeding of the colour around the lip area.

QUICK TIPS
The easiest way to avoid smudging of lipstick is through the use of a lip primer. It gets results as a bottom for the lips, retains the colour for a longer period, and also prevents bleeding of the colour.

In the event of any unevenness around the lip or jaw area, correct it by utilizing a concealer or a foundation shade that’s close to your skin layer tone.
A good lip pencil/liner is a superb choice of base to avoid smudging. Select a lip pencil that precisely matches the lipstick shade.
Outlining and filling your lips with a lip liner ahead of the application of lipstick really helps to improve the longevity of the lipstick, regardless of the formula or quality.

Always use a good thin lip brush to apply the lipstick as it gives you an even application and helps you reach even the corners.
Always carry a good lip color in your bag for quick touch-ups.

Wasn’t that easy? A little practice is all you need to continue to keep your lipstick from fading. And you may never again have to buy a long-stay lipstick once again. Say goodbye to repeated reapplication and declare hello to forever stunning lips!
