Moyes Will Not Be Disappointed Even If West Ham Failed in the Top Four

London – West Ham United are chasing their dream of finishing in the top four of the Premier League this season. However, if the mission fails, David Moyes will not be disappointed.
West Ham are a surprise team this season when they are now fourth in the standings with 55 points, three ahead of reigning champions Liverpool in sixth and one point from Chelsea in fifth.
This means that the competition for the top four will still be tight in the remaining seven weeks. Moreover, Leicester City is in the third position

also not only one point ahead of West Ham so that the West London club has the opportunity to nudge there.
The steady performance after the turn of the year is the reason why West Ham are in the top four. They are the team with the second most points after Manchester City, who are now at the top of the standings.

Jesse Lingard, on loan from Manchester United, has also been in form, with eight goals and two assists since February. It is certain that West Ham wants to be able to stay in the top four, even if the mission is not easy.
West Ham still have to meet Chelsea 24 April as well as Everton 8 May, both of which are direct contenders for the Champions League. There is a possibility that West Ham will slip in those two matches, given that the record against the top seven teams is not good.

Even if West Ham fail in the top four, Moyes will not be disappointed considering they have tried their best to get it. But, before the season is over, West Ham will not just give up.

“That’s what I want to do, I want to try (finish in the top four) and stay there as long as possible, until the end of the season,” Moyes told Sky Sports.

“I think if we continue to win, if we do, then we have a chance for that,” he continued.

“Should we be disappointed if we fail to qualify for the Champions League? We will not be disappointed but deep down, I will be disappointed if we don’t try to finish in the top four.”
