Yoga has been around for thousands of years. It has proven over and over again to be the holistic program that helps you to live a life of higher quality. Yoga stretches and strengthens the entire body. It calms and refocuses the mind. It also teaches us to be more compassionate and kind to ourselves and those around us. Our Perth yoga studio offers both energetic and laid-back yoga styles in a supportive and nurturing environment.

We offer weekly classes for you to enjoy and we started recently offering a new format of the pre-registered yoga course, which you will find under the Workshops tab.

These courses allow you to create a more profound commitment to yourself and the practice and will enable you to achieve more outstanding results.

Styles of Yoga

Knoff Yoga

Knoff Yoga is one of the most researched yoga programs available, with its roots grounded in the traditions of Iyengar Yoga & Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.

Each class has five segments

  1. Meditation – to calm the stressed mind
  2. Pranayama (breathing techniques) – to improve the vital energy
  3. Asana (series of physical postures) – to stretch and strengthen the body
  4. Relaxation – to heal the Nervous System
  5. Philosophy – to remind and guide us to live a meaningful life

Beginners (Knoff Yoga)

This class is for those who are new to yoga or haven’t practiced for some time. Your teacher will guide you and explain in detail to build your knowledge, confidence and strength. You will learn a solid foundation to set you up for a lifelong, happy and healthy yoga journey.

Level 1 (Knoff Yoga)

Yin Yoga

Escape from your day and enjoy the tranquility of Yin Yoga. It is designed to calm, balance and repair by teaching you to let go. It is a quiet practice where postures are held for a long period of time to target the connective tissue, improve flexibility and maintain healthy joints.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is gentle therapeutic yoga suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Postures are executed with the help of props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters and straps. By supporting and stabilising the body one experiences the postures as deeply rejuvenating and healing.

Private Yoga

Traditionally yoga has been taught in a “one–on–one” environment. This always has been and still is the best way to learn.

If you are looking to accelerate your results by losing weight quicker, relieving stress faster or simply want a little extra help, one on one private yoga lessons are a great way to achieve this.

About Pilates

Pilates is excellent for injury management and especially significant for the ageing population due to its gentle, supportive movement.

At Perthfect Harmony, we specialize in teaching private Pilates and small group sessions of a maximum of 4 people in the class to ensure each client receives individual hands-on instructions for best results.

Many of our clients come to us with existing injuries, offering individual attention helps our clients to learn and heal fast.

Pilates Styles

Private Pilates

Private Pilates classes are advised for those that have pre-existing injuries and require more attention. And for clients that are new to Pilates. The 1-on-1 session gives the client and the teacher time to find out the best and the safest way for the body to move, learn and heal. We are using a variety of Pilates equipment, such as the Reformer, Trapeze Table & Wunda Chair to build strength, control and awareness.

Mat Pilates

Our Mat Pilates classes are ideal for those who have good body awareness, minimal injuries and want to build more strength, tone and flexibility. It’s a fun workout that will improve your core strength and general fitness, using a combination of small Pilates props that vary class-to-class, so you always feel challenged and entertained.
