Godzilla’s attack on Apex Industries headquarters makes the company take drastic steps to retrieve Kong, who is in quarantine to avoid the monster’s threat. However, the company turns out to have another secret behind it.

Not only did the two monsters meet, but the two characters from opposite sides of the film also met, along with their nuances.

Instead of trying to combine the two different films, director Adam Wingard chose to put Kong into the Godzilla setting which is more mystery-ridden and a battle between the brilliant giants, even though the shooting is typical of blockbuster films that are not so prominent throughout the duration.

The human element of the film is set aside as usual, with the main highlight being the thrill of seeing the two monsters battle in awesome CGI technology.

However, Alexander Skarsgård’s acting as a protagonist to Millie Bobby Brown as a deuteragonist is quite interesting to bring the momentum of this film from mystery to mystery.
If you are a fan of Japanese films, you might be curious about Shun Oguri’s acting in this Hollywood film.
At least Shun Oguri has pretty solid acting skills in this film even though he’s not very fluent in English!

5. Really Godzilla dominant music!
Although this film tells the story of the meeting of two great icons in the world of tourism, the composition of Henry Jackman’s music team emphasizes more grandiose and massive horror like the two previous Godzilla films rather than the feel of Kong: Skull Island which appears only once or twice.

With amazing visual effects, unfortunately the story of the monster fights that are still too basic makes this film more suitable to be given a 3/5 rating and it’s fun to watch with friends for the ‘wow’ factor!
