There’s a good chance that you have heard of Pet Shop Boys. These days they are one of the biggest bands around. However, if you don’t know much about them, you may be wondering how did this band get to where it is today. The short answer is, they started as just a duo. Then singer/songwriter Neil Tennant joined the group, bringing with him his amazing guitar skills, which he used to create some of their best-known songs.

He and his friend, guitarist Chris Lowe, first became interested in music at the age of 14 when they listened to The Beatles. After this, they began playing and writing together, eventually going under the name Pals. It wasn’t long before they were signed to Big Band.
