What is Dry Needling:-

Muscular and Skeletal pain are the most common symptoms amongst most of the age groups. The common reasons can be either due to any injury, sedentary lifestyle or age factor in the elderly. Dry Needling is one such treatment that caters to all of them. It is defined as a treatment that involves the use of a thin needle to de-activate the myofascial trigger point in the muscular tissue, which is the cause of pain & it gets resolved after the treatment.

Types of Dry Needling:-

During the past many years, there are various types of approaches that are used in dry needling, depending upon its effectiveness and post-treatment effects. However, the two major approaches are superficial and deep dry needling.

Deep Dry Needling:- It is more effective for the treatment of pain associated with myofascial points. It can cause few post-treatment effects.

Superficial Dry Needling:- It involves treatment of tissue which are superficial to the skin. It does not cause any post-treatment effects such as soreness.

Benefits of Dry Needling:-
