Reset the password-

Change the Account name-
When you try to access the hotmail account and it displays the something went wrong error on the outlook website. you should change the alias of your browser. Once you will change the alias.
- Open the microsoft account information.
- Click on the your information.
- Press manage account sign in.
- Press the create a new alias button.
- Now add the new alias name and press the done button.
Finally, the new alias will be created on your account. you may now go ahead and access the account again.
Fix the browser settings-
Sometimes hotmail doesn’t work due to the browser issue. in such a case, you have to reset the outlook account. Once you should reset the browser. you need to uninstall the browser and install a new browser.
Update the mail settings-
Once you change these settings, you need to update the mail settings and then retry to access the webmail again. it will start working fine.
