Why we need certificate attestation?

If you travel to a foreign country, you need to attest your educational certificate in order to use it officially in the foreign country.

Certificate attestation is the process of verifying the authenticity of a document, such as your degree, marriage certificate, or birth certificate or any other certificate intended to be used abroad. The attestation is typically required when the document is being used for official purposes in a foreign country. The process of attestation involves verifying the signatures and seals on the document, as well as the authenticity of the issuing authority.

Certificate attestation is a crucial process for individuals who plan to study, work or settle abroad. It is also essential for businesses that operate internationally and need to provide authenticated documents to foreign authorities. Without proper attestation, these documents may be considered invalid and could result in serious consequences.

Step 2: MOFA (of the country of issue) Attestation – Once the document has been authenticated by the Notary, it should be submitted then to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for attestation.

Step 3: Embassy Attestation – After MOFA attestation, the document is submitted to the embassy or consulate of the country where it will be used for attestation

Step 4: MOFA (of the foreign country) Attestation – If the document is being used in Abu Dhabi for example, it should be attested from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs then you can use the certificate in UAE.
