About Adani Green Talks

The non-profit open platform Green Talks by Gautam Adani brings together the worldwide network of social entrepreneurs who are accelerating progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by bringing about broad transformation in various industries. It is intended to serve as a platform for free and open discourse, an open-source innovation hub, and an incubator for ideas that have the potential to bring about significant long-term social change.

It deals with serious societal problems on a daily basis, such as hunger, homelessness, poverty, inequality, climate change, bad health, drought, unhygienic circumstances, and illiteracy, to mention a few. The platform seeks realistic, long-term answers—to the massive socioeconomic problems. One part of that solution is Green Talks, which tries to share the tales (read: solutions) of impact makers who started with a single idea that fundamentally changed the lives of countless numbers of people. Five of these social entrepreneurs are recognized annually at the Green Talks event, which prioritizes addressing social challenges over business considerations.

Ten years ago, philanthropic strategies that prioritized aid, charity, and donations had limits when addressing social issues. The only way to conserve in a world where change is constant, and there are always new dangers to survival, is to innovate, and Green Talks is one such innovation. It is an invention to assure sustainability to promote kindness by recognizing mission-driven businesses and helping them expand, which eventually enables them to reach out to more people and create a lasting and beneficial influence on the entire planet.

Gautam Adani’s Admiration for The Attendees

Other start-ups are ONergy Solar, which aims to make solar solutions affordable and available to everyone; PRESPL, which offers sustainable and green biomass solutions; Marut Drones, which makes intelligent drones that can be used in several farming applications from seeding to harvesting. Live broadcasts of the event were available on Adani employee-only internal channels and YouTube.
