IELTS One Module Test Is Likely to Begin from March 2023

IELTS for Australia PR

• As far as Australian Permanent Residency has concerned, the country set minimum and maximum language criteria to acquire the points.
• To be eligible for Australia PR linguistic criteria candidates can appear IELTS General Module Test. However, the IELTS selection criteria may vary from the assessment bodies to bodies and candidates’ profiles to profiles.
• According to DHA’s criteria, if any candidate may get less than 6 bands in IELTS in any module then she may not be eligible to apply for the Expression of Interest to Australia.
• On the other end, at least 6 bands in each module of IELTS is a minimum criterion to be eligible for Australian PR. However, candidates may appear for other tests like PTE to apply for the EOI.

• As per the above-mentioned table, the language table is divided into three categories – Competent, Proficient and Superior.
• The 6 bands in each module are considered competent English language fluency but it may support candidates to be eligible to apply for EOI. However, they will not get any points out of it.
• On the other side, 7 bands in each module, a proficient English level added 10 points in the Skilled Independent visa criteria. Whereas, Superior English (8 bands in each module) gives 20 points.

Reading Format

• Reading is one of the crucial parts of the IELTS test. It tests your concentration, skimming and scanning abilities. Usually, the module divides into two types.
