Rack-It Inc.

Rack Parts Bay Area is a company that sells truck racks and other parts to commercial vehicle manufacturers. It also provides service and installation, including a nationwide warranty program. The company has been in business since 1982 and manufactures heavy-duty material racks for pickups, service bodies and flatbed trucks at one location outside Sacramento, California. Its move to Kentucky will allow it to better serve its Eastern US customers, including Auto Truck Group in Louisville, The Knapheide Manufacturing Co. in Quincy, Illinois, Reading Truck Body in Reading, Penn. and Monroe Truck Equipment in Monroe, Wisconsin.

The company plans to invest more than $1.35 million and create 25 full-time jobs in Albany, Kentucky. The project includes buying, upgrading and building out from an existing 37,000-square-foot facility on Fairgrounds Road in Clinton County. It will install a square tube production line for the manufacturing of heavy-duty truck racks. It is expected to be fully operational by January 2019. The company is receiving tax incentives up to $250,000 through the Kentucky Business Investment program.

West Coast Shelving

West Coast Shelving is one of the leading suppliers of warehouse storage and material handling equipment in Northern California. It offers a full line of shelving systems to accommodate storage needs and increase warehouse capacity.

Cantilever Racking is a great way to store longer or oversized products. It provides optimal storage for pipes, lumber, tires and more.

The rack parts arms fasten to a beam on a single end of the shelving unit, and allow longer or wider loads to be stored without sacrificing floor space. This shelving option is also ideal for vertical storage.

Boltless Shelving

Often referred to as “no-bolt” shelving, this storage solution requires no hardware to put together and allows you to use your time more efficiently. It’s perfect for light industrial or shop use, shipping operations, paper records and more.

Shelving units can be assembled vertically or horizontally with a rubber mallet. Each unit comes complete with uprights, left-to-right beams and front-to-back supports. Shelves come in a heavy-duty steel with a gray polyester finish.
