With a 0-60 time of 3.8 seconds, the regular BMW M3 is still plenty quick. It can beat a number of other cars in its class in the sprint, including the Mercedes-AMG C63 S and Audi RS4. The new BMW M3 Competition offers more impressive acceleration in this guise, launching from 0-to-60 in just 3.9 seconds. It’s not far off the Alfa Quadrifoglio, which manages the feat in 3.9 seconds. The M3 can also be ordered with xDrive all-wheel drive, which cuts that 0-to-60 time to 3.6 seconds and improves traction in the snow.
