When you can set industrial valves at a nominal condition to withstand pressures beyond a certain limit and still run their process in that manner, then the industrial valves can be used in industrial applications.

What types of industrial valves are there?

Most industrial valves are of the roller type and most of the industrial valves are roller based valve. You can set industrial valves in industrial applications for moving air and water. Industrial valves also provide a direct control over movement of water.

What types of industrial valves are widely used?

The single barbed oil and gas flow valves have most application. The key applications are low pressure water, water supply, liquid hydrogen, hydron, and ethylene process plants. Low pressure water is used for purification of water. Low pressure water is also used in sewage and industrial process. The use of water in chemical plants is also done through industrial flow valves. Valves used for direct control of the flow in these processes are also known as control valves.

Industrial valve is also used for temperature control in power generation and industrial plant. The temperature control system is used for ensuring control of water temperature in the thermal power plant. Further, industrial flow valves are used to control the flow rate of water and also used for level control in the process. Industrial valves can be set for specific needs and have to satisfy standards for gas protection, stability of air pressure, efficiency of the process, protection of steel work or valves.

When can industrial valves be used to supply gas?

Industrial valves can be used to supply gas in industrial plants like power plants, oil refineries, chemical plants and chemical manufacturing plants. You can set industrial valves in industrial plants to monitor the pressure of gases. You can set industrial valves for low or high pressure water for different industrial purposes.

Where is the industrial valve more efficient in treating gas?

In low pressure water, you can set industrial valves for temperature control, in which you can set the temperature range for the valve to control the process. In general, the temperature control system has a flow control valve. There is a flow control valve in the low pressure system. The flow control valve is set to control the water temperature from low to high and higher to lower temperature. The liquid that flows in the system and gas that flows through the system are in different temperature range.

Using the low pressure flow control valve, the temperature of the liquid that is in the system is reduced in low temperature zone and also increases in high temperature zone. Generally, the gas is used to cool the water when the water temperature is less than 40°C. The liquid that is in the process zone is provided to be cooled. The gas flows in the gas cooled system. The gas can flow in the low pressure system when the water temperature is less than 40°C.

Generally, the high pressure water is provided for different processes like chemical processing, mechanical cooling, mining, and hydrocarbon steam. In the process water cooling systems, the temperature of the water is in the range of 25 to 30°C.

In the process cooling systems, if the water temperature is greater than 30°C then the gas must flow in the process cooling system. The temperature of gas in the process cooling systems is set for an optimal operation of the process plant. If the temperature of the water is increased then the gas flow must be decreased and the water flow must be increased.
