Citroën Basalt: Engine, Performance, and Specifications
The Citroen Basalt could be equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. This engine is expected to deliver 109bhp (brake horsepower) and 190Nm of torque, which means it should offer good performance and acceleration.
When it comes to the transmission options, the Basalt will probably come with a six-speed manual transmission as the standard choice. This type of transmission allows you to shift gears manually for a more engaging driving experience. Additionally, there will be a six-speed automatic transmission available from the start. The automatic transmission will handle gear changes for you, providing a smoother and more convenient driving experience.
What Features Will the Citroen Basalt Offer?
The new Citroën Basalt will have a design similar to the Citroën C3 Aircross. It will feature split LED headlights, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), a sloping roofline, bold wheel arches, silver faux plates at the front and rear, wrap-around LED taillights, black side mirrors, and new alloy wheels.
Inside, the Basalt will be the first Citroën to get an updated interior. It will include new upholstery, dual digital displays, better-quality plastics, and more comfort features. It will also have the same basic features as the C3 Aircross, such as tire pressure monitoring (TPMS), wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, cruise control, keyless entry, push-button start, a digital driver’s display, and tilt-adjustable steering.
What Variants Will It Offer?
The Basalt will probably come in three versions: You, Plus, and Max.
