2024 Maruti Swift Engine Specifications
The new Maruti Swift for India has a new 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 82 PS and 112 Nm of torque. It is available with two transmission options: a 5-speed manual (MT) and an automatic (AMT). The fuel efficiency is impressive, with the manual version offering 24.8 kmpl and the automatic version offering 25.75 kmpl.

The 2024 Maruti Swift has been updated with a range of new safety features to enhance driver and passenger protection. These features now come as standard in all models. One of the key upgrades is the inclusion of six airbags. This comprehensive airbag system provides increased protection for both the driver and passengers in the event of a collision, with front, side, and curtain airbags ensuring that all occupants are better shielded from impact.
Another significant addition is the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP). This advanced system helps maintain vehicle stability by automatically detecting and reducing the loss of traction. ESP is particularly useful in preventing skidding during abrupt turns or sudden maneuvers, enhancing overall driving safety and control.
To aid drivers in reversing and parking, the 2024 Swift now includes rear parking sensors. These sensors detect obstacles behind the vehicle and alert the driver, significantly reducing the risk of collisions while parking. Complementing this feature is the rear parking camera, which provides a clear view of the area behind the car. The live video feed displayed on the car’s infotainment screen makes it easier to park and maneuver in tight spaces.
Additionally, the Swift now comes with ISOFIX child seat anchorages.
