Manager and investor with a deep knowledge of finance gained in over 20 years of working experience, Lorenzo Vangelisti is a recognized professional in the financial sector who founded his own firm in 2010. Before establishing Valeur Group, where he currently operates as Partner and CEO, he took on several roles at Credit Suisse International within the Private Banking Network and the Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives Division. His mission is to lead Valeur Group by delivering excellence in the services provided, including asset management, investment advisory, risk management, trading, and real estate.
Lorenzo Vangelisti: education and first professional experiences
Lorenzo Vangelisti boasts a strong specialized education that, combined with a solid professional experience abroad, allowed him to build a successful career. That is also the recipe that let him take on several positions of increasing responsibility in the financial sector. Native of Mendrisio (Switzerland), when he was born in 1977, Lorenzo Vangelisti attended the Scuola Cantonale di Commercio of Bellinzona (Switzerland), where he got his high school diploma. He then continued his studies at Centro di Studi Bancari – Vezia (Switzerland), obtaining a Swiss Certified Banking Specialist Certificate in 2001. Afterwards, he earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Certificate from the CFA Institute in Charlottesville, VA (USA). His first professional experience was in the Private Banking Division of Credit Suisse International as Assistant Relationship Manager. He then specialized in structured products and derivatives which allowed him to take on the role of Structured Products Specialist. Lorenzo Vangelisti kept growing professionally by holding positions of increasing responsibility. These include that of Vice President of the Private Banking Network of Credit Suisse International. In 2007 the manager moved to London to take on his last position at Credit Suisse International, which is that of Director of the Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives Division.
Lorenzo Vangelisti and the establishment of Valeur Group
It was 2010 when Lorenzo Vangelisti decided to establish his own financial firm. That is what he did and he named it Valeur Group. The Founder of the company emphasized on many occasions that his main idea was to create a firm that could represent a safe financial harbor for his clients.
