WHAT IS IELTS?

IELTS Eligibility 2024

What is the age limit for the IELTS exam?

Qualification for the IELTS test

IELTS Syllabus 2024

The four areas of the IELTS syllabus are writing, speaking, listening, and reading. Along with receiving a score in these four areas, students also receive their overall IELTS score. Candidates should have an understanding of how to tackle every IELTS section. The combined points from the four skill areas make up the overall score. Two hours and forty-five minutes make up the entire test. The test is divided into four parts given below. 

  1. IELTS Listening Section (around 30 minutes): This part evaluates your comprehension of spoken English using a variety of recordings, such as lectures, monologues, and conversations.
  2. IELTS Reading Section (60 minutes): This includes essays, graphs, and articles, which are given to evaluate the level of reading comprehension. The writings are derived from newspapers, books, journals, and other sources.
  3. IELTS Writing section: There are two exercises in this 60-minute segment. One must summarise, and characterize the visual data, such as graphs, charts, or diagrams, for Task 1. Task 2 is an essay in which one should answer a specific question by putting forward arguments or sharing his or her thoughts on a subject.
  4. IELTS Speaking Section (11–14 minutes): this section consists of an in-person interview with an examiner that covers a range of inquiries and assignments linked to personal experiences, opinions, and abstract subjects. It will basically check your grip on the English language.

IELTS RESULT
