GES Pro

GES stands for the GAN Elasticity System> and is GAN’s way of tensioning their modern puzzles. Basically, it consists of a clear nut with a smaller one in light blue or dark blue set into it, which symbolises two tension levels.

With the GES Pro, Gan has changed their nuts from colour to number, but still with a very similar system. You can change the GES nuts yourself with a special tool and you can adjust the spring tension.

The purple GES nuts have the weakest spring elasticity and give your twisty puzzle the lowest tension. This makes your cube very flexible and very easy to turn, but it is also less controllable.

The green GES nuts are slightly more flexible and have a higher tension but this gives your cube better controllability. The yellow GES nuts have a medium strength and give your cube the balance between speed and stability. It feels more comfortable to rotate and has a better corner cutting.

GMS V3

GMS V3 is the magnetic system used on the gan 11 m pro. The system uses 8 corner pieces to control the magnet strength and is able to switch between six different settings in a single rotation.

The system also includes an extra set of interchangeable magnetic core stems, which attach to the base of each of the corner pieces. This allows you to turn your cube into a non-magnetic version of the 11 m pro without sacrificing any of the functionality.

The GES Pro tensioning system is also built into the gan 11 m pro, and this system can be adjusted to 6 different levels with the included adjustment tool. It also features 24 elasticity settings, which allow you to adjust the cube’s magnetic force to meet your personal preferences.
