The latest 6 seater and 7 seater editions of hector are unveiled by the MG Motor in India. 6 seater MG Hector plus is expected to be launched in summer 2020 and the 7 seaters MG Hector plus will be launched around Diwali 2020.
Power trains and features list of the hector plus will be shared with the standard hector. On the bases of the impressive market success of the hector. Due to this success, the design of the hector plus is designed with enhanced features and specifications.
This new edition comes with a more premium look and customizable seating 6 seaters (2+2+2) and 7 seaters (2+3+2) configuration. The interior and the exterior look of the edition are revamped.
While it comes to exterior look, the front part of the cars will have an all-new headlamp, front grille, front/rear plates. MG Motor India stated that the company will strengthen the hector brand in India in the future and the company will try to come with more innovative and value-added offerings and try to enhance customer delight.
DESIGN OF THE MG HECTOR PLUS:
MG Hector is India’s first internet car. i-SMART is the featured segment which is dedicated for the hector, the segment is the technology that powers the MG Hector plus participating at the prestigious industry event for the first time. For the MG Motor to demonstrate its technological prowess and global position as a future-forward brand, this showcase is very helpful.
All-new MG Hector plus will have a three-row version at auto expo 2020. With additional row of the features are updated and as it’s a 6 seater model, it comes with captain seats in the second row. The 7 seater version is on the pipeline.
The 6 seater hector will get a set of captain with a usual 50:50 split seat in the row and the 7 seaters will get a bench-type seater in the second row and these bench- type seats are 60:40 split seats.
While the 6 seaters and 7 seater hector models are compared with the regular hector, the hector plus will be offered with a sliding second-row to adjust legroom for the third row.
FEATURES OF THE MG HECTOR PLUS:
Engines and the features list of the 7 seater hector will be shared with 5 seaters and 6 seater hector. There are two engines with two fuels, those are petrol and diesel. One engine is a 2.0-liter diesel engine(170PS/350 Nm) and the other engine is a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine(143 PS/250Nm). It has 6 speed manual gearbox where both engines are mated. The petrol engine gets an additional option of 6-speed DCT as well.
The feature of the standard hector is panoramic sunroof, touch screen infotainment system with a length of 10.4 inches vertically. eSIM is available for connected car technology, the camera which covers 360 degrees, up to six airbags, a powered tailgate and powered front seats.
7 seater MG Hector is to be priced on par with its 6 seaters and 7 seaters MG Hector plus is expected to automobile market with a premium of Rs 1lakh over the standard car.
