The main parts of a clock and their role in its operation

The engine or main organ

In all watches wall clock decor, it is the tool that enables the system to be started! Usually it depends on the type of watch, but works almost similarly. Generally, its role is to supply energy to the gears and to operate the rotation system. Without the motor organ in a clock, this one will remain without moving.

Once the energy has been transmitted to the gears, they perform numerous revolutions, thus transmitting the received energy to the exhaust. This via small toothed wheels which convert the energy into legal time.

The distribution system or the exhaust

Like the first part, this one depends on the type of your clock. Generally, it is this which regulates the energy by carrying out either oscillations in a watch with balance or a pendulum or by maintaining the alternation in recent clocks.

And the regulating organ of movement

Finally, the movement organ is simply responsible for transmitting the information of the oscillations to the hands and synchronizing the operation of the latter. Basically, it is the part of the movement that is closest to the dressing that can be observed.

WHY DOES A GEAR WATCH OFTEN LOSE THE TIME ON ITS OWN?
