The pandemic changes the world drastically in many ways. If you are a traveler, most probably the first thing you will notice is the restrictions in travels brought by this unfortunate situation. Before you just have to get a passport, sometimes a visa, then you’re good to go. However, today, you will need more requirements than ever.

It may be challenging to remember all the necessary documents you need to present as each country has different rules and requirements before leaving or entering the place. Some may ask for a certificate indicating that you passed the fit to fly COVID test, and some may ask for other Covid-19 related tests.

In Europe, it is essential to also pass the Rapid Antigen Test for Travel before leaving the said country to ensure that you are safe to travel and don’t have any symptoms of the Covid-19 virus.

Recently, most countries started to give vaccines to their citizen, and now more people are wondering if they can now travel with a vaccination card only or if they still need to take the rapid antigen test.

As implemented, 21 EU member states and three non-EU Schengen Area countries are now using the European Union’s Digital Covid Certificate, which they can use when traveling.

This Covid-19 passport’s goal is to restore freedom in terms of travel because of its restriction caused by the pandemic. This means that anyone who has this will be exempted from further testing in all EU member states regardless of vaccination status.

People who want to travel in the EU need to carry their certificates to ensure that they will be exempted from restrictions and quarantine. It can be presented either digitally or in paper format.
