So last week the internets was set on fire with People’s Magazine Sexiest man alive list. This list comes out every year with a new number one at the top and most of the time the actual “sexiest man” really doesn’t give a shit. Like he needed a list to actually let him know that he’s sexy, I’m sure all the tail he was getting or all the pink all the guys on that list were getting wasn’t a clear indication that the opposite sex finds them attractive. The only people that seem to care are actual women who have no chance on God’s green Earth of ever landing any of these men.
I thought this clip from South park below actually gives a clear accurate description of the banality of girls and their list.
Like I said women can make all the lists they want, some can write blog posts about what they deeply, madly, truly find attractive in a guy till they’re blue in the face. Real. Men. Don’t. Care. The traits that ONE woman finds attractive in a male will differentiate drastically from the next. The only thing you can say for sure is that most girls like it if you open doors and don’t punch them in the kidney (on the first date). On top of that it’s been scientifically proven that most women’s level of attraction change during ovulation. You hear that, even your own body chemically betrays you.
The positive thing about being a man is the true understanding of working with what you’ve got and acting how you believe a man should act. If I think being a certain size, dressing a certain way, or having a certain number of tattoos makes a guy an alpha male, then that’s how I’m going to mold my life. Even if I’m wrong, I know you’re only as manly as you feel. If you feel alpha, women who are not even into “your type” will pick up on the confidence that comes with you and may even give it a shot.
Truth be told for both sexes you can either listen to other people for direction on what’s sexy or make up your own conclusions and stick with it. Women have it twice as hard because their not only trying to be attractive towards men, they want other women to find them attractive as well. In the end the last place I’d ever go to find out about acting or being a real man is a woman.
