Halloween is one of the most admired fun holidays. It is a great time for adults to dress up and enjoy themselves. Kids also have the opportunity to get creative and have fun with their own costumes as well. Halloween isn’t just about trick-or-treating anymore; it has become much more than that. Great family fun as well as parties, and there are so many different Academies in Corpus Christi that usually design Halloween games for children to provide hours of fun.

Fun and Festive Halloween Games for Kids

Kids can enjoy a wide variety of Halloween party games that will give them a chance to dress up and be creative with traditional activities such as bobbing for apples and pumpkin carving. Here are a few examples:

Trick or Treating Scavenger Hunt

Before your child goes out trick-or-treating, it can be a lot of fun to look for items around the Academy that they can use in their costume. They will love finding a variety of things from sunglasses to hats and gloves, and it can be a great activity to get them excited about the evening.

In addition, creating a scavenger hunt list is also a lot of fun. You can allow children to pick out several items from around the school that they would like to find, or you can make up some additional Halloween-themed items for them to collect as well. This will make an ordinary night of trick-or-treating even more exciting for them!

Haunted House

Many kindergarten children love going through haunted houses on Halloween, but why not host one in your own home? You can decorate with cobwebs and spiders, add some strange sounds in the background, and even dress yourself up to create a spooky atmosphere. Your child will love getting creative with their costume and crawling through the house in search of treats.

Pumpkin Toss

In Corpus Christi private schools, the staff arranges a lot of fun games for kids. Children need to collect some fruit roll-ups or small candies that are wrapped in plastic wrap. Divide kids into the group and then set up a line for each “pumpkin” on the floor at one end of the room.

It can be three feet away from where they begin and depends on how far your child throws the candy. The kids have to stand behind the line and try to throw their candy across the room, so it lands on the floor near the line. If it doesn’t stick to the floor, they can attempt more. The first person to get the five pumpkins across the line is the winner of this game!

Ghost Relay

Create an indoor relay for this Halloween game. Have each team divided into three members – the first is a ghost, the second is a witch, and the third is a cat. You can use colored T-shirts or slipcovers to help identity which characters each team has chosen. Each player has a set of six rings that they need to pass from one teammate to another with their eyes closed so that it goes in order from ghost, witch, and then a cat. The first team who successfully makes it through all three players wins! It is also one kind of social skill development activity that allows your child to play with others and coordinate with them.

Blind Mummy Walk

This Halloween game allows kids to have fun with a classic activity that is generally followed for Preschool kids in Corpus Christi. All you need is a long piece of rope to connect players together, and then have them place a bandanna over their eyes to block their vision.

They will walk forward until they bump into something or someone else, which means that those people will now be the “mummy.” You can keep going with this as long as everyone is having fun!

Treat Hunt for Underneath Your Own Tree

In school, teachers want to try an indoor version of a Halloween game to get kids to have a feel of the holiday. Let your kids decorate pillowcases ahead of time. You can fill them with their favorite toys and treats or other items related to Halloween.

Now hide it in a safe and accessible place where nobody stumbles across it accidentally. Once it’s done, tie up the bag and let them find it with the following clues. When they are able to get it, allow them to enjoy their treats. Trust us; they feel very happy!

Wrapping Up

These are the fun ideas that the Academy in Corpus Christi staff follow for kids to keep their day rolling with lots of spooky surprise and laughter. Some are stuffed towards toddlers who might be too little for trick-or-treating at a Halloween party. There are definitely more than these that the whole family also can play together. You just need to use your imagination and creativity and eat your favorite festive candies.
