How to Paint Your Abstract. Flowers represent many different things for different people. It is possible to represent beauty, serenity, new beginnings, new seasons, and renovation, to name a few – which is why you make an ideal argument for artists who want to work more abstractly. Whether you wish to catch bright colors, texture, or public environment, abstract flowers help artists lose and free their most active imagination. Abstract flowers paint
I find the freedom to create abstract art because it leaves more space for intuition, luck, and playfulness. The abstracts are a fabulous way to express all these ideas and emotions that live in us in our private garden.
Perhaps flowers work so wonderfully as abstract art. They have so many symbolic meanings: joy, growth, beauty, and at the same time, fragile and courageous. When I paint abstract flowers, I try to express them.
Materials:
- Protected work surface
- Art Journal with heavy paper or another substrate of choice
- Chalk, white
- Brush, including a flat brush for collage and a medium-sized round brush for painting
- Pencil
- Ballpoint pen, black, permanent
- Water-soluble crayons in your color selection
- Media Mattel, soft or regular
- water
- Images of magazines or garden catalogs, different sizes
- palette
- Assorted acrylic or liquid acrylic colors in color selection
- Small brayer or plastic card
Optional
- Collage cards: book pages, sewing patterns, etc.
- Ink stamps and pads
- Hot air gun
- Fine-tip the white pen
Start with interests
A protected surface creates an interesting, textured background on the substrate in neutral tones. This substrate adds depth to the painting and drawing ideas. It is also a fantastic method to get divested of the empty surface and get into the river. I collide the book pages in my diary. Mixing or adding sewing pattern fabrics are other ways to work directly on an empty surface.
To apply
Paint a rough white chalk coat in the background. Let it dry well.
Your thoughts Journal
Officer in the background with a pencil and a permanent ballpoint pen. Both are ideal for light, handwriting that flows, and are water-resistant. Do not rethink it; Let the words flow intuitively to express what you feel right now.
Scribbled
Scribble on the side with water-soluble crayons in a few green tones. Start with a focal doodle that will be the starting point for a large flowers cluster. Then add doodles some minors here and there, thus changing between the green when you go and leaving a lot of white space. Follow the energy feels. It can be soft and peaceful, joyful and alive, or intense and dynamic.
Media mix and stir
Mix half a gel with water to liquid color uniformity. Apply the gel medium mixture with your fingers randomly on Doodle to move, and seal crayons. Some of their brands will disappear, and some colors will mix. The town, the better. Dry thoroughly.
Add more colors and sizes.
Create some tight scribbles of small blooms with pastels more soluble in water in at smallest two other shades. I used pink and red. Do not be tempted to outline the flowers, easy to scrape and see how they bloom. Vary the colors and make sure they are scribbled directly on the green sheet and in some of the white areas. They often begin with scribbles and work mostly with your fingers to create splashes of color, causing petals. I had the composition course as natural as possible. I also like to integrate a contact of whimsy with real rose images in the diary. These are likely to be covered, but they are an invitation to look closer and deeper layers.
Move and seal.
Add half slightly watered gel to move and seal the pastels as before. Not operate it.
Follow your heart
Choose a couple of pictures of flowers magazines and pull only the heart of the flowers with all their beautiful petals. Make sure you have a variety of sizes and colors.
Trust Process
Choose a large flower that serves as a focus and put it somewhere in the main cluster of scribbles. Experiment with placement until it feels good. Sprinkle the little flowers on the side. Some have fallen into the wrong side, so turn around but not change their natural place. Take a point now to glance at what has transpired. If something feels like it, change it, but keep most of the flowers where they fall. Trust in the process and be surprised. Glue the flower images with an average gel in place and apply it below and through the collage images.
Fingerman
Add periodic acrylic paint in a pallet in various colors inspired by the collapse of pictures and already former pastels. I used red, magenta, and burnt orange because I like roses in warm colors, but everything is possible. Add a rare drop of water to your pallet next to the color. Mix color and not too much water. You want a variety of highlights and more intense ones. Wear color here and there, the color on and on collaged flowers.
Normally I start with a brush, but soon put the brush to the side and use my finger. The painting with his fingers allows more spontaneity and happy accidents. Fingertips create beautiful little points that can cause the petals, not the temptation to paint the flower’s shape. Mark helps keep the abstract painting.
