King Edward University is an independent public medical university based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was originally established as King Edward’s School of Medicine and Dentistry. It is now known simply as King Edward University. Established in 1860, the school is named after King Edward VII, who is the patron saint of medicine.
