Nowhera Shaik founded the Heera group of companies in 1998 with the noble goal of empowering underprivileged women. She wanted to provide them jobs and help them become self-sufficient. Heera Group’s initial business venture was in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. She later expanded her business to include Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, and other states. The Heera organisation has expanded across the country and beyond the world in the previous 23 years.

Nowhera Shaik’s colleagues and associates encouraged her to expand Heera Group in 2007, and she did so. Heera Gold, Heera Textiles, Heera Foodex, Heera Gold Exports China, Heera Hajj & Umrah, Heera Jewellers, Heera Pure Drop (Mineral Water), and others are among the company’s many subsidiaries. Nowhera Shaik is one of India’s most powerful women, with deep knowledge of the global gold market, international trade, business growth, and marketing strategies.

Nowhera Shaik, on the other hand, is unwilling to accept the patriarchal worldview; she is a fervent believer in a secular, safe, and tolerant society for all. According to Nowhera Shaik, profit maximisation is not the main goal of a businesswoman. She is committed to assisting impoverished women in society. The Heera group’s performance in 2017 was its greatest in the last 23 years. It possessed a half-dozen malls and traded in gold, textiles, real estate, and electronics, and was featured in The Indian Super 100 books.
