How to use Teleparty?
Teleparty is a free extension that gives a seamless user experience. It enables you to watch and host any TV show or movie of your choice with people living far away via your preferred streaming website. Just within a few clicks, you can watch anything in synchronization. Here’s how it works –
Install the TELEPARTY extension :
Firstly, to install Teleparty, make sure that you have either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge extension on your device. Then, you can install the Teleparty extension on your Chromebook, Windows, macOS Laptop, or Computer.
Pin the TELEPARTY extension to your browser’s toolbar:
Once you finish installing the extension, you will see a TP button next to your address bar, pin it to the chrome toolbar. Moreover, if you do not see the TP button there, click on the “ Teleparty“ puzzle icon next to the address bar and pin the TP button to your chrome toolbar.
Sign in to your preferred streaming website:
After that, you need to open any supported streaming website out of Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, Hotstar, Hbo Max and sign in to your account.
Search, Select & Stream the video:
After logging in to the preferred streaming website, search and play the video you want to create a watch party for.
Create a Watch Party:
Click the TP button right next to the address bar of your browser. After that, the “Create a watch party” window will open. Click on the “Start a Party” button to get your teleparty watch party link. Now, copy and share this watch party link with the friends you want at the watch party.
Apart from this, you can have complete control and remote of your watch party by turning the “Only I have Control” button green, or else you could disable it.
How to Join a Teleparty Watch Party?
Simply sign in to the streaming website and open the teleparty watch party link your friend has shared with you. Please, make sure that you have already installed the Teleparty extension to join the watch party. However, if you have already installed the extension, you will be redirected to the watch party the instant you click on the watch party link.
