Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the official notification for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) on UPSSSC official website. How to Apply Online for UPSSSC PET (UPSSSC PET 2021)?
Interested candidates can apply for PET on the official website of UPSSSC. Applications will be accepted between 25th May to 21st June 2021. Candidates can follow step by step instructions to apply for this exam.

Step 2: Proceed for candidate registration.
Step 3: Click on “Apply” for Preliminary Eligibility Test 2021.

What is UPSSSC PET Eligibility?
To be eligible for the application, candidates must meet the age and eligibility criteria-
- Age Range
- Candidates should be between 18 to 40 years as of 1st July 2021.
- Age relaxation will be applicable for the following categories:

- SC ST OBC 5 years
- meritorious player five years
- Public Works Department 15 years

- The candidate must have passed at least the 12th class.

What is UPSSSC PET Exam Pattern?
As per the recently released notice for PET, the exam pattern is as follows:
- The exam will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions
- One hundred questions in total will be asked.
- The duration of the UPSSSC PET exam will be of 2 hours.
- Wrong answers will result in a negative marking of 1/4 mark.
- The difficulty of questions for subjects from Senior to class 1 to 9 will be as per NCERT Secondary / Senior Secondary level.

How to Download UPSSSC PET Admit Card?
The PET admit card will be issued on the official website of UPSSSC for those candidates whose applications have been approved by the commission. Candidates must download the admit card and obtain a hard copy of it as the commission will not send any admit card to the candidates individually. Only then the candidates are allowed to take the exam.
