What are ISO certifications?

EN ISO 11611 specifications are in place to ensure accuracy. Each certification is getting a grade numerically and has different requirements and specifications.

What is International Organization for Standardization 11611?

This specifies minimum protection standards and research methods for protecting wear. Such as hoods, aprons, sleeves, and guitars, which are to be worn during welding and other similar risk processes and are made to shield wearers’ bodies. Including their heads (hoods) and feet (gaiters). ISO 11611 only applies to hoods and gaiters made to protect the wearer’s head and feet. It does not cover hand safety specifications.

What is the ISO 11612 Certificate?

This specifies consistency standards for fire and/or flame protection in protective garments made of lightweight fabrics made to shield the wearer’s entire body except for the hands. The only safety apparel required by ISO 11612 is guides, caps, and overboots to secure the wearer’s head and foot. Hoods, on the other hand, do not have a visor or respiratory equipment specifications.
