So after you have checked your eligibility for the scholarship program, the next thing required is to get all your documents together. Some of the common documents required are as follows:

  1. A copy of the first page of ID proof or passport of both candidate and parent/s is required to be attached along with the application. This acts as proof of your citizenship in the UAE.
  2. A copy of the transcript from your current school, consisting of grades of all courses officially signed and stamped by the school authority.
  3. A letter of motivation genuinely stating the purpose of choosing the particular institution and the scholarship program. It’s advisable to keep this letter limited to one page or around 400 words.
  4. A letter of recommendation from the principal or other governing body of your current school is necessary for emphasizing the candidate’s skills and merits.
  5. Affixing GPA and other test scores is crucial as it forms the principal basis of the selection procedure.
  6. Submission of the parent’s financial statement of annual income and tax returns with relevant proofs is essential to demonstrate the candidate’s eligibility for the scholarship.
  7. A medical certificate is required to be produced along with the above documents. The aspirant’s health report should necessarily be issued by a registered medical practitioner or a government hospital.

Though superficially scholarships are primarily for students with a commendable academic record, there are several scholarships with non-academic eligibility criteria as well.
