Architecture Courses and their selection criteria

B.Arch. (Under graduation)

The B.Arch. degree programme or architecture bachelor degree includes five years of academic study / ten semesters, including a semester of specialized training. The five-year bachelor’s degree program in architecture is divided into two levels.

● During the first stage of the program, students must complete three academic years or six semesters at the institution.

● During the second stage of the program, students complete two years of academics plus four semesters of professional training.

It is recommended that students complete the B.Arch. degree programme within ten semesters, but not more than 14 consecutive semesters from the date of the first enrolment. After completing both stages, candidates are entitled to become registered under the Architects Act, 1972, a mandatory requirement for practising and teaching architecture.

The selection criterion

To be eligible for this course, candidates must meet the following requirements:

An aggregate score of 50% for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 and 5+3 diploma exams (with Mathematics as a mandatory subject).
