Of course, we can share copied content on Instagram, but we don’t always like what we like. Instagram doesn’t allow its users to share copies of the media, which is why people say that. Where is the Instagram clipboard?

You can easily copy and paste texts on Instagram, but installing visual media is a little more complicated. Of course, you can download visual media to your phone and share it on Instagram. Although it is possible to copy: Insert visual media. However, if you do not have download space on your device or just do not want to download, you can copy media to the clipboard.

Instagram Stories Clipboard

Finding the clipboard in stories is easy. This is very different from the previous steps. The clipboard location may surprise you. Let’s see how to find the clipboard in Instagram Stories:

  • The first step is the same as before, go to the site from which you want to copy the material. After copying, go back to Instagram.
  • When you’re on Instagram, swipe right to access the camera.
  • When you’re on the camera page, click the gallery button in the bottom left corner of the page.
  • Select an image from your gallery.
  • When your photo or video appears, click the “Aa” button in the upper right corner of the page.
  • After touching and holding the text input field, the “Clipboard” button will appear, and you can select the copied material from there.

There is a difference in this clipboard. Surprise! Now you can choose visual content. You can select photos from this clipboard and the selected photo will appear in the photo you have selected for your story. However, you can resize it and completely cover the story photo with the inserted photo.

 

 

Clipboard on Instagram posts

It’s very easy to open your Instagram clipboard. You can see the Clipboard in two places. One of them is on the post sharing page, and the other is on the story sharing page. First, let’s see how you can get to the clipboard when you post photos. Follow the steps below.

  • Go to the website where you want to copy material. After copying, return to Instagram.
  • When you are using Instagram, tap the “+” icon in the square box and open your gallery.
  • Select a photo from the gallery to share and tap “Next”.
  • Select a filter or edit a photo, then tap “Next” again.
  • You will be moved to the “New Message” page on Instagram.
  • Here you will see the “Write a text…” section, tap on it.
  • Then you can see “Clipboard”, tap it.
  • After touching “Clipboard”, you will see the clipboard content and you can select it from here.

This is how you view the clipboard on Instagram. When you open the Clipboard, you will be surprised because you will find very old media that you forgot about.

However, it’s impossible to get visuals from the Clipboard. You can see the visual environment you are copying over, but that’s about it. There is no way to glue this type of media. Visual content will have a red line, which means you can’t select it.
