Zerlina began her career as a field organizer for the 2008 Obama presidential campaign as soon as she graduated from the university.
Later, she became director of progressive media for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign. She was later named SiriusXM’s director of progressive programming in 2017. Together with Jess McIntosh, she hosts a Sirius XM radio segment called Signal Boost. At the end of 2017, she even interviewed Hillary Clinton on Sirius XM Town Hall. Additionally, Zerlina has her own self-titled daily news show on Peacock TV.
