1: Make sure you get enough water.

So straightforward, yet so few of us get it right! Aside from drinking plenty of water, there are more pleasurable ways to stay hydrated. Instead of caffeine-rich teas and coffees, drink plenty of warm herbal teas. We got some fantastic teas.

For example, Oriental Organics Organic Butterfly Pea with Lemongrass is a unique and delectable combo. Every day, drink 3 to 4 cups of herbal tea and 2 liters of water.

2: Eat organic foods that help with digestion.

Organic foods are free of toxins, chemicals, and artificial colorants and preservatives. These are the nasties that frequently cause gastrointestinal problems, allergies, and intolerances.

Organic food lowers your toxic load, provides more nutrients to your body, benefits the environment, and enhances your overall health. Organic farming is more environmentally friendly since it uses less energy and produces less waste than other agricultural practices.

Cinnamon can assist to balance blood sugar and curb sweet cravings if you have a sweet tooth. One teaspoon in cereal, smoothies, or just water each day is highly healthy. Look for sugar-free meals that include good natural sugar replacements. Heart has a large selection of sugar-free choices.

3: Eat nutritious foods, of course.

Educating yourself and implementing a realistic nutrition plan for yourself or your entire family is an important part of achieving holistic health.

Get rid of the sugar (for the most part). It’s tough to ignore the content once you recognize where it’s hidden (hello white bread, pasta, store sauces ..)

A diet high in sugar and refined carbohydrates can be detrimental to the immune system. High-sugar diets increase intestinal permeability, feed the wrong microbes in our gut, and cause low-grade inflammation. That is not acceptable!

4: Get your act together.

In these strange days of no hugs, no crowds, and social separation, keeping hands very clean after any touch is one of the most effective strategies to reduce the spread of any illness.

There are some lovely organic and natural soaps and handwashes available. If we’re going to use something so often, it should be excellent, right? Your skin will thank you for sticking to natural products.

5: Sleep like a baby.

Poor sleep is one of the most common concerns when it comes to stress and depression. Put sleep first as much as possible. Both you and your immune system will benefit from a good night’s sleep.

First up. Take down the screen! Avoid using your iPad, tablet, or phone for at least one hour before bedtime because blue light has been shown to engage your brain. Remove your phone from your bedroom and replace it with an antique alarm clock if you can stand it.

Create the optimal sleeping atmosphere. Maintain a cool, well-ventilated bedroom, and unwind with a bath, a candle, or an ambient room spray before bed. Lavender is a wonderful essential oil for unwinding.
