What is ICSE?
The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) is a class 10 test administered by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), a private school board in India. The board mentioned above, which is CISCE, is based in New Delhi. It is one of India’s most prominent educational boards, which conducts the ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 board examinations every year.

According to the New Education Policy 1986, ICSE was intended to give an exam in the course of general education through English medium. The Council prioritizes a student’s complete development by delivering a balanced curriculum to all of its students.

Syllabus:
The ICSE syllabus is well structured and thorough, intending to develop analytical abilities and practical knowledge in its pupils. The board test is noted for its extensive syllabus, and students must prioritize all areas. In addition, the board focuses on a deep study of each subject, allowing students to choose specialized areas in higher grades.

Internal assessments are also highly crucial for a student’s progress, according to the ICSE. The outcomes of the practical exams are added to the student’s overall score. Therefore, students enrolled in the ICSE should be entirely aware of the test syllabus in order to properly prepare for their examination.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the board members decided to reduce the syllabus only for the students of 6th to 12th grade who are from the academic year 2020-2021. Also, this year the syllabus remained the same except for the board classes. For the 2021-22 academic year, the board restored the syllabus for 10th and 12th. Due to the sudden mishap of Covid, the schools were unable to teach the students on the school premises. But students completed the given syllabus from their homes. Thus the stress and burden of the students get reduced during the tough time. The ICSE syllabus is superior in terms of practical knowledge.

Why ICSE?
● The curriculum places a strong emphasis on language, arts, and science.
● The board places a high value on projects and lab work.
● The curriculum is exceedingly thorough, and pupils are expected to remember a great deal of material.
● The credentials are recognized all around the world.

ICSE Schools in Delhi:
Delhi is both a city and an Indian union territory. It is a major urban region in the north of the nation. It also serves as a home for a number of notable educational institutions.
There are some ICSE board schools in Delhi that perform every year with noticeable results. Also, the students of those schools will show better career graphs. The Shri Ram School, Vasant Vihar, is a good example of where learning could take place in a caring, comprehensive, value-based, and secure atmosphere. The school provides a few facilities like an ICT laboratory, science and EVS laboratory, lunch, library, sport, transport, auditorium, medical aid, tire park, performing and visual arts, etc.
