The Seven Stars, located near Marsh Baldon, was originally built in the 15th century as a modest weaver’s house. It has been converted into a hotel. It now has a considerably more elegant and beautiful appearance. The courtyard garden is warm and comfortable in the winter, and bright and pleasant in the summer in the sunny, shaded courtyard garden.
After exploring the charming High Street, which features medieval, Tudor, and Georgian facades, you may unwind with an aperitif or a pint by the magnificent fireplace. Their new venture, The White House by Tap Social, is housed in a historic grade 2 listed public house on the Abingdon Rd, just a few minutes’ walk south of the Thames on the Abingdon Rd. The White House by Tap Social is a family friendly community cafe bar and kitchen serving delicious locally sourced seasonal dishes, locally roasted barista-made coffee, and of course, craft beer brewed right here in Oxford.
In addition to a generously sized garden and seating across two floors, the White House also features wood burning stoves, an eclectic mix of comfortable furniture, and artwork created by talented inmates. 6. Gee’s Restaurant and Bar
