In a world where technology is constantly changing, it’s important to have tools that can keep up. Two of the largest companies in tech – Google and Microsoft- offer education suites for K12 users as well as higher educational institutions with their learning management systems: google classrooms name chalkboard room decorating ideas Microsoft 365 Education edition which includes “team” mobility features such as group chat or video conference functions.

The use of LMSs has skyrocketed since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, with both Google Classroom and Microsoft Teams for Education seeing an increase in users. The number on each platform now stands at 150 million compared to pre-infection rates which were around 100 Million when they first launched earlier this year!

Integration with Google Classroom and Microsoft Teams can be challenging, but it is technically possible. Below we’ll explore some of the similarities between these platforms as well as their differences so you have an understanding of how best to integrate your school’s curriculum into one system or another!

Google Classroom

Google Classroom, part of the recently renamed Google Workspace for Education productivity suite can be used either as a supplement to other learning platforms or it could serve as your primary LMS.

The Google Classroom API allows for apps to integrate with G Suite and act on behalf of authenticated users in google classroom. For example, an app could create new resources or assign grades from a teacher’s grade book during assessments using LTI® standard but isn’t supported by them at this time

The biggest drawback of Google Classroom is that it cannot give you access to all the roster or enrollments for an entire school, district-level. Additionally, users are organized in workspaces by organizational units rather than specific schools and sections at a given time which can be inconvenient when trying to find someone who needs help with their homework!

The problem with this system is that it’s not easy to find a user when they want or need them because there are so many schools in an entire district. For instance, if your app needs information from only one specific school then you’ll be troubleshooting throughout all of the other locations trying to figure out where exactly on earth these people go!

The Google Classroom API can authenticate your users and provide them with access to courses, but it’s unclear if they’re students or teachers because usually a teacher will be enrolled as a “student” in another person’s course.

It’s been announced that new add-ons are coming to Google Classroom, which will function separately from the app. These extra features seem like they’ll only be available for premium accounts on g Suite at this time but we’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available!

Microsoft Teams for Education

The Microsoft Teams platform with added features to support online learning, such as the ability for instructors and students alike.

Maintaining your team’s productivity is easy when you have a modern learning management system like custom LMS development that helps keep them connected from anywhere at any time!

The Microsoft Graph API integrates apps with Microsoft Teams so that they can act on behalf of an authenticated user in the chat application. This means certain functions, such as obtaining lists or grades for users’ classes (depending upon what type it is), creating assignments, etc., are available through integration into these particular platforms – though not via LTI standard at this time but instead using “custom protocols”.

By integration your app with Microsoft’s Teams environment, you’ll be able to obtain consent from the local IT administrator. Once granted access for district users will have full rostering information on any school in their networked organization even if they are enrolled online or not at all! With our APIs talking directly into Azure Active Directory database of data stored within it we can compile lists that include both students and teachers as well giving us an idea who might best fit what role needed when adding new content

The education API is still in beta, so it’s important to note that Microsoft can change these APIs at any time and cause your integration break.
