The episode starts with Maasa asking the ladies to start the puja. Arjun looks at Rishabh and Preeta from downstairs. They think marriage and the seven realms are a lie. He thinks that Preeta was fasting for him and the other side was planning to kill him. He says love is betrayal. He recalls celebrating Karwa Chauth with Preeta. Preeta starts the puja. She sees the moon with Karwa Chauth channi and remembers how she celebrated Karwa Chauth with Karan. She gets dizzy and falls down. Arjun catches her. He keeps her on the bench. He asks her to open her eyes. He sprinkles water on her face and gives her water. He is waking up. He asks her if she is okay. She says she’s there and won’t let anything happen to her. One of the ladies says that Arjun broke Preeta’s fast by giving her water. Another lady says that Rishabh is Preeta’s husband.
On the other side, the ladies of Luthra perform the puja. Mahesh breaks Rakhi’s fast. Sameer breaks Srishti’s fast. Dadi asks them to collect the gifts. Kundali Bhagya Kritika tells Kareena that she feels weird and wants to go downstairs. Kareena tells her to love herself and these things won’t affect her. Kritika tells her that she doesn’t want to witness all these rituals as it affects her and leaves. Kareena thinks her daughter is not happy and the Arora sisters rule the Luthra house.
Rakhi asks Mahesh to give him her phone and says she wants to bless Preeta as she would complete her Karwa Chauth puja. Sameer tells her that there won’t be much network. He asks her to message Rishabh. Mahesh texts Rishabh.
Rishabh holds Preeta. She asks Shekhar if he called the doctor. Shekhar nods at him. Radhika takes Preeta from there. Arjun scolds Rishabh for not taking care of Preeta. Rishabh thanks him for saving Preeta’s life and leaves from there. Shekhar also thanks Arjun.
Preeta tells Maas that she is fine. Maasa tells Rishabh that doctor will come soon. Everyone leaves the room except Preeta and Rishabh. Preeta tells him that there is no need to call the doctor. He tells her he was scared. He says he realized he can’t live without her. He tells her that he needs her in his life. He asks her to take care of herself. She thanks him for giving her so much importance. She asks him not to worry.
Arjun enters his room. He says his heart shouldn’t beat for Preeta as she never loved Karan. He thinks Preeta doesn’t deserve his love. He remembers the lady’s words. He says he is still Preeta’s husband. He picks up Anjali’s call and tells her everything and hangs up. His soul tells him that Arjun felt bad that Preeta was still fasting for Rishabh. Arjun tells him that he will not let Rishabh complete the ritual. He decides to feed Preeta food. He disguises himself as a waiter and takes Preeta’s plate of food.
