The next screen will prompt you to add your Google account if you have one or create a new account if you don’t adding a Google account will allow you to purchase apps from the Google Play Store you can also access email calendar events and contacts that are associated with your Google account if you don’t want to add a Google account right away you can always add it later to skip this step tap skip a message will appear telling you that you won’t be able to download apps from the Google Play Store or backup data from your jitterbug if you’re ok with that tap the skip button to confirm the next screen will ask you to enter a name for your device this will personalize your device to the name you enter to type a name tap the first field once the keyboard appears on the screen type your first name then tap the last field and type in your last name once you’ve entered your full name tap next next you’ll be prompted to add a screen lock but this is optional and can be added later to skip this step tap skip and skip anyway the next screen you should see is Google’s terms of services tap more to scroll down.
