This year’s NEET AIR 1 hails from Haryana and secured a stellar score of 715/720 in the NEET exam. Tanishka’s achievements are even more commendable as she also secured a 99.50 percentile in the JEE Mains exam. While she always aspired to pursue medicine, she had given the engineering entrance just to understand her level of preparation.
Tanishka did not opt for mathematics in class 10th & 12th and attempted the JEE math section purely based on her understanding till class 10th. She claims to have attempted the math section only towards the end. She found the Physics and Chemistry section inline with the NEET exam. Her score in the JEE exam gave her a much-needed boost for the NEET exam.
Tanishka credits her success to her parents. Her preparation journey included 6-7 hours of study per day, adequate breaks for relaxation and listening to music to calm her mind. Tanishka had been preparing for the NEET exam since class 11th and was a student at Allen Career Institute, Kota. She had also attended BYJU’s / Aakash classes in online format. She now aspires to pursue her MBBS degree from the prestigious AIIMS, New Delhi.
