How to setup Netgear router as access point?
Open a web browser in a device which is connected to the router.
Type www.routerlogin.net in the search bar and click ok.
This will direct you towards the login page. Enter your username and password in the provided boxes.
Go to advance settings and select advance setup.
Then, click on wireless AP.
Now, select the AP mode. You can choose the IP address settings from the screen.
Click on apply to save the changes.

Steps to configure Netgear router:
Connect to your wireless network using the Wi-Fi or you can use the Ethernet cable.
Open the web browser and type 192.168.0.1.
Now, enter your Net gear username and password to access router remotely.
In case you haven’t changed, default username and password are, username: admin, password: password.
You should be able to log in to your router and modify the settings of the router.
You can also reset Netgear default router password. Under the settings, go to advanced. Select administration and click on set password. Then, enter the new password.
